IPL T-20 Rules 2023

Every sport has its own set of regulations, after all. The regulations for IPL 2023 are presented here. If a player had a good season before being sold, the team owners would be wise to consider keeping him. Every player must play per the league’s regulations. The players that underperformed will be thrown into a suction pool and given pocket money by the rest of the team.

  • The RTM (Right to Match) Card allows the team to re-sign a player at a reduced price if they can outbid the competition to add to their team.
  • After the auction, teams can select 25 players, with 8 being international players and a minimum of 18.
  • Before the final list of retained and released players is provided to the IPL governing Council, teams in the league are allowed to trade players with one another during the trade window of the IPL.
