Oklahoma State star running back Ollie Gordon II was arrested Sunday morning on suspicion of driving under the influence outside Oklahoma City, according to records obtained by The Athletic.
Gordon was pulled over by an Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) officer early Sunday morning for driving 82 mph in a 65 mph zone and swerving through traffic, according to the probable cause affidavit.
During the traffic stop, the trooper found open bottles of vodka and tequila in Gordon’s car, and Gordon said he had “one drink,” per the affidavit.
Gordon was then taken to the Cleveland County jail in Oklahoma, where he provided breath samples that registered a breath alcohol content (BrAC) of .11 and .10. Gordon was booked on charges of DUI under 21 years of age, having an open alcohol container, failure to maintain a single driving lane and speeding. He was released on bond, per the affidavit.
An athletic department spokesperson from Oklahoma State University told The Athletic that the university is aware of the incident reports but had no comment as of late Monday night.
Gordon was a first-team All-American in 2023 and given the Doak Walker Award, presented annually to the best running back in college football.
