With the National League on recess, the news about Argentine basketball in recent days was the controversial end of a Sub 17 match between the Córdoba clubs Ameghino and Bochas Sportswhich forced the Confederation (CAB) to open a file on what happened.

The video of the end of the match was published by the journalist Javier Juarez on Twitter and it didn’t take long for it to go viral. At the end of the day on Sunday, the CAB announced that it was opening an official file for “analyze the sporting behavior of the members of both teams” while the club itself Ameghino announced the decision not to participate in the final home run.

“The last 10 seconds of the game do not correspond to what the closing of the home run deserved, casting suspicion on the sporting decisions of boys who did nothing more than play and fight with noble weapons. “Both the boys from Ameghino and Bochas Sports do not deserve that for 10 seconds of matches, the CAB opens a file generating suspicions towards them,” the club explains in the statement.
