He became separated from a group of canoeists on Saturday morning and disappeared. Eiffel’s canoe was recovered from the water on Saturday without being seen anywhere.
Over the weekend, the Coast Guard searched 350 square kilometers, calling off the search at sunset on Christmas Eve. On Monday and Tuesday, Gilyana’s friends, family and Task Force Hydro-1 conducted their personal search efforts.
After a long search, an update was given stating that Eiffel had been found in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of the Atlantic Ocean Florida coast. The update stated that he was found on December 26 around 1 p.m.

After days it was confirmed that Gilyana was no longer there. While kayaking with the Jax Fire Dragons near St. Augustine Inlet around 10 a.m. on December 23, he went missing under severe circumstances when his companions lost sight of him.
A quick search was conducted by the U.S. Coast Guard, but only his overturned kayak was found. It was broken in two.
They found Gilyana’s remains around lunchtime on Tuesday, about seven miles from where he was last seen. All things considered, it can be said that Eiffel’s cause of death may have been related to drowning.

They continued, “Let us unite together in prayer as we sincerely seek comfort and guidance in the ongoing search for Eiffel Gilyana. Your presence is greatly appreciated as we come together in hope and support.”
