Devin Booker may not have played in the Phoenix Suns’ 117-107 overtime win over the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday night because of injury, but his jersey stood out anyway.
Make that two of his jerseys.
Two young Suns fans wearing Booker jerseys were shown multiple times on the TNT broadcast of the game at Ball Arena showing their support for the Suns.
Social media noticed, praising the duo for their energy in cheering on Phoenix in the game. One of the fans was in a retro Devin Booker Suns jersey while the other was in a Moss Point Devin Booker high school jersey.
Suns player Bradley Beal also noticed the fans, who gifted one of them his shoes after the Suns’ big win, a win that kept Phoenix in sixth place in the Western Conference standings, a game ahead of the Sacramento Kings for that seed, which is important because the No. 7 through No. 10 seeds play in the play-in tournament for the NBA Playoffs.
