The docuseries focuses somewhat on the accusations against Schneider from people who worked with him at the time. It also follows controversies that happened behind the scenes involving allegations of sexual abuse.
In 2018, Schneider and Nickelodeon both announced the end of their contract. The reason for this separation did not come out until a few years later when it was revealed that Paramount Global, the parent company of Nickelodeon, did an investigation into Schneider and found that many people who praised his work ethic and attention to detail also viewed him as verbally abusive. Most of the accusers were people who worked with him during his reign over Nickelodeon television in the 2000s. While it is believed that Schneider was verbally abusive, no accusations have come out against him about physical abuse.

Is Drake Bell in the ‘Quiet on Set’ documentary?
On Wednesday, March 6, Investigation Discovery released a second trailer for the documentary ahead of its airing. In the trailer, Drake Bell is seen walking onto screen and sitting in a chair for the interviewers to talk to him.
According to a news release, this is Bell’s first time identifying himself as the victim of abuse. Bell confirms he was a victim of Brian Peck, a registered sex offender that worked on Nickelodeon in the early 2000s and was convicted of child molestation in 2004.
